Type locality: Western Australia. 145 nautical miles NW off Port Hedland , mud, 18°37′00″S 116°14′36″E / 18.616667°S 116.243333°E / -18.616667; 116.243333 to 18°38′00″S 116°44′00″E / 18.633333°S 116.733333°E / -18.633333; 116.733333, 696–700 m, 6.IV.1982.

Holotype: WAM Z20671 [1].

Etymology: named after Helen Elizabeth Shearburn Clark.
