Callorhinchus alfordi Cicimurri & Ebersole, 2015

  • Holotype: CMM-V-5791, incomplete left mandibular.

Type locality: Charles County, Maryland and Prince Georges County, Virginia.

Stratigraphic occurrence and age: Piscataway Member, Aquia Formation, upper Paleocene, Thanetian Stage.

Etymology: named for Aaron Alford in recognition for his donation of a large proportion of the Aquia Formation Callorhinchus to the CMM.
