Note: original spelling is Astroschema intectum (misspelling of genus name).

Type locality: Atlantic Ocean, Cuba, off Havana ; Depth: 175 fms; 23°9´0´´N82°21´30´´W .

Holotype: MCZ OPH-2762 [1].
