- Nomenclatural note: Only 1 specimen was examined, which is herein regarded as a unique holotype, but the situation is complicated by the fact that it was not designated holotype, and literature references were given to other specimens, which may therefore qualify as syntypes, though 'Kariyagazaki near Nagai in Sagami Bay' is referred to (on p. 16) as 'the type locality'.
