Name

Abyssocythere australis Benson, 1971

• Type locality: From a water depth of 3390 metres, about halfway between Australia and Antarctica on the Indian-Antarctic Rise in the vicinity of Eltanin Station 39-10, (48°03.1'S, 126°16.6'E), Southern Ocean.
