Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are administrators with additional functions to:
- Promote a user to administrator or bureaucrat status
- Grant and revoke an account's bot status.
Assigning
editBureaucrat status can be assigned by any bureaucrat, but can only be removed by a steward.
As per the policy for administrator access on Meta, inactive bureaucrats may have their access removed.

Requests for bureaucratship
editPlease explain here why you need bureaucrat access. After seven days, if there is general agreement that you should be a bureaucrat, one of the bureaucrats will fulfill the request.
