Edit rate requested: Depends on number of interwikis it finds. Probably something in the dozens per day.
Already has bot flag: Not here.
Function detail: Just regular interwiki links. Bot is approved on Simple English Wikipedia. Requested on French, Italian, and English Wikipedias. Also requested on English Wikiquote and Wikiversity. I realize that there's already an awful lot of interwiki bots out there, but redundancy is never a bad idea, and one more can't hurt ;). I am an experienced bot operator, I am part of the Bot Approvals Group on enwp and operate three bots (DodoBot, MessageDeliveryBot, WelcomerBot) there, as well as DodoBot on Commons. - EdoDodotalk09:55, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Withdrawn by operator. I ran the bot through quite a few pages here, and it seems that virtually none require interwikis. The global bots are probably taking care of them already, for the few pages where it is applicable. - EdoDodotalk17:37, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I've looked into it more, and it seems this is an issue with interwiki.py (the script I use) not picking up links to different family websites (ie. Wikispecies -> Wikipedia). Since there are no other Wikispecies websites, this effectively means the bot finds no interwikis. I'll talk about it to the pywikipedia programmers on IRC and keep you updated. - EdoDodotalk05:34, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In my page curation, I try to make lnks wherever possible to Commons Categories for images and sometimes to Wikipedia for species links. Are these picked up by your bot, and if so what does it then do with them? Accassidy (talk) 22:18, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
