Well done!
editWell done Dubatolov!! I see you created an account! Now every time you enter Wikispecies don't forget to log in (if the "Log in / create account" doesn't appear in the right top corner, then you're already logged in) Did you get this message? Mariusm (talk) 06:23, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, I shall not forget! Vvdubat (talk) 17:40, 29, September 2011
Pictures
editOK, pictures have to be inserted first at another site of pictures connected to Wikispecies which is: Wikimedia commons: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page . After you put your pictures there, you can use them at Wikispecies. Do you understand? Mariusm (talk) 06:42, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
About pictures
editSorry, I still could not understand a way. Formerly I used only two types of placing images on web-site: 1) ftp, 2) using a special button "insert", like on molbiol.ru, or mail.ru Vvdubat (talk) 18:29, 29 September 2011
- No, No, first you have to enter the site http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page . There is a procedure how to transfer the pictures. But I can help: you can send me some pictures to my mail: marius.masi@gmail.com and I'll put them for you (provided there is no copyright violation, and they are your pictures).
- you are making still some format errors in your conribution, but I don't have the time right now to explain them to you. I'll contact you later,
So long, Mariusm (talk) 08:35, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much for help! I shall send you photographs just after finishing adding species to Spilosomina and preparing images of lower quality (300 pixels per width). Vvdubat (talk) 21:32, 29 September 2011
Pictures
editI uploaded the files. You can see them at:

I will later explain how to put them in a Wikispecies page. Mariusm (talk) 08:06, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
How to insert a picture in a Wikispecies page
editSuppose you want to add the following picture in the Tancrea pardalina page:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Tancrea_pardalina_P.Gorbunov_molbiol.ru.jpg
Then the first line on the page should be:
[[File:Tancrea_pardalina_P.Gorbunov_molbiol.ru.jpg|thumb|right|250px|''Tancrea pardalina'']]
As you see the parameters are:
[[File:<file's name>|
<rendering type (should be always "thumb")>|
<where on screen (should be always "right")>|
<size in pixels>|
<caption at the picture's bottom>]]
If you have any questios, please tell me, Mariusm (talk) 15:33, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks!
editI put all images to Wikispecies, thank you very much for help! Vvdubat (talk) 6:51, 2 October 2011
Nyctemera (Orphanos) tripunctaria
editI removed the redirect for Nyctemera tripunctaria, but please fill now the correct details on the page. Mariusm (talk) 07:05, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks!
editI put information to Nyctemera tripunctaria, thank you very much for help! Today I more or less finished adding Arctiinae/ni species to Wikispecies; in few groups (Utetheisa, Nyctemera sensu lato) I am not a senior expert; if nobody will not add information about these groups to Wikispecies, I shall do this later. Spilarctia
editVictor,
I'm missing in the Spilarctia two species Spilarctia chuanxina and Spilarctia zhangmuna both from Cheng-Lai Fang. Published in
- Fang, C.-L., 1982: Four new species of the genus Spilarctia from West China (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae). Acta Entomologica Sinica 25 (2): 201-203, Beijing (in Chinese, summary in English). The species Spilarctia dukouensis and motuonica same bulletin and author you have described.
Answer
editSpilarctia chuanxina now is a species of Eospilarctia. Spilarctia zhangmuna is a member of Lemyra genus. Sorry, my name is Vladimir...
