Taxonbar for literature templates?

I see what you mean, e.g. Template:Sundevall, 1846a.

{{Taxonbar}} does provide an ID there, so I wouldn't say it's totally out of place, but I've removed all templates from the work queue just in case, and can remove {{Taxonbar}} from literature templates if desired. —Tom.Reding (talk) 12:01, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Bot blanking taxon pages

Just to give you a heads up, for some reason Tom.Bot is blanking some taxa pages instead of adding a taxonbar like it's supposed to be doing currently. See for instance [1] (a diff for one of the pages from my Watchlist), but also [2] (a list of the bot's contributions with the Blanking tag) Monster Iestyn (talk) 16:20, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

Addendum: Going through the Blanking tag contributions a bit further, it appears the bot only started blanking pages a few hours ago. So thankfully nothing was going wrong before today at least. Monster Iestyn (talk) 16:23, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

Interesting... This is sort of a known-issue in AWB that I've heard other bot ops having, but not one I've experienced until now, and not one I know the trigger for (so as to avoid it). The solution might be to restart the AWB instance periodically (its been running for several weeks now). —Tom.Reding (talk) 17:25, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
