Vernacular Names

Hello I noticed that you posted an inquiry about vernacular names. Wikispecies does have a policy of only one name per language. However, there can be exceptions, for example English is native to three continents with three different cultural histories. In general we do not want VN to be cluttered with all possible local names. Hope this helps. Andyboorman (talk) 08:20, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
