Noinclude translation tags
editI think translation tags don't need to be in noinclude tag. Doing it moves noinclude to text which is visible in translation form. --Wargo (talk) 14:24, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Wargo: If we don't do this, we see "<translate>" everywhere on the pages where the template is included Archi38 (talk) 14:28, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- Several of the vandalism templates still results in showing the <translate> and </translate> tags on screen, for instance the
{{Test}}
and{{Test2}}
templates. The tags are not visible on the actual template pages, but are rendered and fully visible on any page were the templates are used. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 04:21, 8 May 2016 (UTC).- Now corrected. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 15:32, 8 May 2016 (UTC).

Administrators' Noticeboard
editHello. I tried to set up the {{Anheader}}
template for translation. However, after my edits the <translate>
and </translate>
tags are visible on the Wikispecies:Administrators' Noticeboard page, where the template is used.
Could you please:
- fix it, and
- explain to me what I made wrong... :-)
Thank you. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 20:26, 30 April 2016 (UTC).
- You're welcome! For embedded pages like templates you have to add <translate> balises, mark page for translation and then remove <translate> balises. And please, when you prepare a page for translation, make translations units properly:
- Do:
<translate>My sentence 1.</translate><translate>My sentence 2</translate>
- And not:
<translate>My sentence 1. My sentence 2</translate>
- Also, I'm asking for translation admin rights on meta here, so don't hesitate to support me :)

- You're welcome ! Also let me show you this usefull page: Special:PagePreparation. And my request for adminship on meta will fail :/ Archi38 (talk) 10:23, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

Help:Name section
editHi again. Please note that the code examples within <pre> tags on Help:Name section should not be marked for translation. Regards, Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 11:09, 4 May 2016 (UTC).
- Oh sorry. I'll change that Archi38 (talk) 11:11, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
