editSome authors such as {{Pickerill & Donovan, 1998}}, {{Zonneveld & Gingras, 2014}} and {{Donovan & Pickerill, 2017}} treat Tremichnus as a synonym of Oichnus, but others such as {{Wisshak et al., 2015}} prefer to keep Oichnus and Tremichnus as separate valid ichnogenera.
