Wrong nationality?

edit

Is Matti Hämäläinen really Dutch, as presently stated in the article? His given name is the Finnish form of "Matthew", and his family name is the fifth or sixth most common in Finland. It means "from Häme", i.e. "Tavastian" or "of Tavastia". Tavastia is the Latin name of a historical province in Finland (see Tavastia (historical province) at enWP) which has always been named "Häme" in Finnish. Dr. Hämäläinen may of course live in the Netherlands, but that doesn't necessarily make him Dutch... –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 07:04, 2 August 2021 (UTC).Reply
