Hirowatari (1992) does not list butleri as a good species, possibly concurring with Bridges that it is conspecific with celeno and deserves only subspecific rank. I have placed it here as a species pending a deeper phylogenetic review of this species group. Accassidy 22:41, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
