Many sources lists this taxon as Caligo memnon rather than as a subspecies of Caligo telamonius.
There are even mentions of Caligo memnon telamonius, however they are most likely incorrect. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 00:23, 13 August 2024 (UTC).
