Type: J. van Donselaar 3047 (in flower and fruit, 24 January 1966; Holotype: L {U 0123366^{(CRIA, GBIF, JSTOR)} & U 0123367^{(CRIA, GBIF, JSTOR)}}).
Type locality: Suriname. Distr. of Brokopondo: high forest East of Brokopondo.
