• Typus: SF 31984 Kiah Hj. Salleh ([8] October 1936; holotypus: L 0019336, buds only; isotypi: A, K000756968^(mirror), L, LAE, P, PNH, SING, distributed as Crudia sp.).
• Type locality: [Malaysia.] Malay Peninsula: Johor, Sg.[Sungai] Kayu, E of Johor, on hill.
