Salvia yangii B.T.Drew, Taxon 66(1): 141 (2017).

Note: there exist blocking names, viz. Salvia atriplicifolia Fernald, Proc. Amer. Acad. Arts 35: 553 (1900) [= S. cacaliifolia Benth., Prodr. 12: 348 (1841)] and Salvia pamirica Gand., Bull. Soc. Bot. France 60: 26 (1913) [= S. sclarea L., Sp. Pl. 1: 27 (1753)].
