Typus: Greece: Lasithi, Mirabello, 4 km W of Katharon, 1300 m, 27 v 1976, Thomas Landström 3097 (Holotypus: LD; isotypes: ATH, G, K).

Note: Having an ISBN, the thesis was effectively published. Name not considered as valid by author, as given in a footnote in Landström (1989: 5), therefore regarded as an unplaced provisional combination by Govaerts et al. (2023). Regarded as validly published in a review of the thesis by Greuter, OPTIMA Newsletter 25–29: (15). 1991 [1]. Accepted, among others, by Dimopoulos et al, 2013, as well as Strid in Raab-Straube & Raus (2017: 295–296).
