Name

Lepisanthes hainanensis H.S.Lo, Acta Phytotax. Sin. 17(2): 31 (1979)

• Typus: Y. Tsoong (钟义) 60236 (20 April 1977, in 5 parts; cf. IBSC {0001962, 0001963, 0001964, 0001965, 0001966, 0001967}).
  • Note: although Tropicos states holotype is located at PE (i.e. Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences), author's affiliation is IBSC, one of the subordinate units of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
• Type locality: China. Hai-nan: Ya-xian, Ya-cheng People's Commune, Nan-shan-ling, alt. 200–300 m., in dense forest.
