Colombian occurrence is represented by R. Vásquez M. 12689 (collected in Amacayacu National Park, Puerto Nariño, Amazonas, 100 m, 9 August 1989; deposited in COL [COL000050451 (332398)]). Jiménez (2002) cited J.L. Fernández-A., [A. Camero, Z. Marín & E. Mesa] 10959 (collected at the path Alto Campucana, finca La Mariposa, Mocoa, Putumayo, alt. 1420 m, 20 April 1994; deposited in COL [COL000152335 (369920)]), which was re-determined with I. moskovitsiana C.M.Taylor by Luis C. Jiménez in 2018.
