  • Type locality: Old Gulch, Lord Howe Island, Australia.
  • Holotype: G.T. Kraft & C.E. O'Brien; 2 Oct 1976; on low-intertidal basalt and in shallow pools on the west side of the headland. MELU LHI-10167.
