  • Type locality: Balls Pyramid, Lord Howe Island, Australia.
  • Holotype: G.T. Kraft, G.W. Saunders & R. Withell; 1 Feb. 2004; at the base of the vertical east face of Wheatsheaf Islet, 26-29 m, on Stypopodium australasicum. MELU LHI-12118 (slide A).
