- Type locality: "Mare mediterraneum? ad Littora Kamtschatica quoque legit Kraschenninikow" Collector: Kraschenninikow (Gmelin 1768: 88). Notes: The type locality as reported by Gmelin “Locus Mare mediterraneum? ad Littora Kamtschatica quoque legit Kraschennikiow” is clearly inconsistent (Lipkin & Silva 2002: 47). Siberia: Kamchatka Peninsula (LT fide C. Agardh 1820) (Index Nominum Algarum).
