Notes: The type locality as reported by Gmelin “Locus Mare mediterraneum? ad Littora Kamtschatica quoque legit Kraschennikiow” is clearly inconsistent (Lipkin & Silva 2002: 47). Siberia: Kamchatka Peninsula (LT fide C. Agardh 1820) (Index Nominum Algarum).
