Notes edit
- Taylor (2017) recognizes occurrence of this species only in Costa Rica.
- Delprete & Cortés-B. (2015) cited Vargas 6342 (collected in Norcasia, Caldas, alt. 400–600 m, 13–31 July 1999; deposited in MO-1534949 (04470502)(GBIF)) as a Colombian occurrence, but it was re-determined with Faramea occidentalis (L.) A.Rich. by C.M. Taylor in 2017.
- Ecuadoran occurrence was represented by W.A. Palacios & E. Freire 5066 (collected at Cosanga, Quijos, Napo, alt. 1900 m, 10 May 1990; deposited in MO-1534945 (04674566)(GBIF); also in ECUAMZ [see Tropicos record], GB-0155590(GBIF)), but it was re-determined with Faramea coerulescens K.Schum. & K.Krause by Taylor in 2017.
