- Note: Standley specified cat. no. 1140756 in the protologue, but it is in fact of Hydrocotyle bonplandii, Araliaceae collected by T.E. Hazen (#8942; US03070801) and Taylor (1999) cites cat. no. 1140576.
- Type locality: Colombia. Dept. El Valle: La Cumbre, alt. 1,800–2,000 m., in forest.
Synonymy
edit- Faramea cuencana Standl. was once placed under F. oblongifolia by Jørgensen & León-Yánez (1999), but it was reinstated by Taylor & Jardim (2020).
