- Note: Steyermark (1967) and Flora e Funga do Brasil (2022) place F. lehmannii under F. torquata Müll.Arg., while Mendoza et al. (2004), Taylor (2012, 2017) and PWO (2022) treat them as separate taxa.
- Typus: F.C. Lehmann 8630 (in flower; Holotypus: F [V0092403F (578484)(GBIF, JSTOR)]; Isotypus: NY [NY00131352(GBIF, JSTOR)]).
