- Eucalyptus camaldulensis var. obtusa Blakely, Key Eucalypts: 135 (1934)
  - Typus: C.E.F. Allen s.n.[658] (July 1922; Lectotypus: NSW [NSW317002^(JSTOR)]); designated by McDonald et al. (2009).
    - Note: other 8 syntypes cited by Blakely are not of this subspecies (fide Slee et al. 2020).
  - Type locality: Australia. Northern Territory: Daly Waters.

- Eucalyptus camaldulensis var. pendula Blakely & Jacobs, Key Eucalypts: 135 (1934); not accepted by Slee et al. (2020) [cited as Eucalyptus camaldulensis subsp. obtusa]
  - Typus: M.R. Jacobs 136 (4 August 1933; Holotypus: NSW [cf. NSW58861^(JSTOR)]; Isotypus: CANB 417822.1^(JSTOR)).
  - Type locality: Australia. Northern Territory: No. 4 bore, between Birdum & Daly Waters.
