- Type locality:
- Holotypus: Cultivated at L'Hortus Camaldulensis di Napoli, Italy; provenance unknown, but it must have been grown from seed collected in Australia (fide Brooker & Orchard 2008).
- Note: Cleland (1956) infers that seed of the type was collected by C. Fraser or A. Cunningham on the Lachlan River near Condobolin, New South Wales during their expedition on 20 April to 17 May 1817.
- ⧼Typus conservandus⧽: Australia. South Australia: Currency Creek crossing on Strathalbyn to Goolwa road.
- Holotypus: Cultivated at L'Hortus Camaldulensis di Napoli, Italy; provenance unknown, but it must have been grown from seed collected in Australia (fide Brooker & Orchard 2008).
