• Lectotype: (designated by De Clerck 2003: 181) Roth 1797: pl. 7, fig.1. In the absence of any type material, the original illustration is chosen as a lectotype.
• Epitype: (designated by Tronholm et al. 2010: 1309): (Fig. 7A): GENT ODC 1057 (O. De Clerck, 24 May 2005, Cap du troc, Banyuls).
