  - Type locality: Chile, [V. Región, Prov. Valparaíso], Juan Fernández archipelago, [Más a Tierra, Robinson Crusoe]
  - Lectotype: TO: April 1830, C.L.G. Bertero 1449 (lectotypified in Holstein et al. 2016).
