All authors listed in this category are already sorted alphabetically by their surname, and have been since the category was first created back in 2005. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 22:31, 29 September 2011 (UTC).Reply

  • Greca, La Greca, LaGreca
  • Godeffroy, Godefroy?, related Museum, is enwiki?
    • Godeffroy (for Oniscomorpha) is indeed en:Museum Godeffroy. It should clearly be "Anonymous", but the purported place of publication clearly does not use the misspelling in question anyway. Cockroach Species File says the record is from Princis. 1963. In Beier [Ed.]. Orthopterorum Catalogus(4):146, which may be the only actual source extant? Someone has to consult a paper version.
    • Godefroy for botany could be the F.F. Godefroy of IPNI. Needs more reserach.
  • Im, probably H.A. Im (Lepidoptera, 1988
  • Medway (Lord Medway, problematic, WS gives earl of ... link
  • Moniez (Fungi (R. Moniez), and Animalia, different authority?)
    • Likely Romain Louis Moniez (1852-1936). The "botanical" material is on microsporidia (he was primarily a parasitologist).
  • Name, Van Name (1925, Animalia
  • Sarens (forename?, 1886, Animalia
    • Name appears mangled, should be Sarasin (BHL, if WoRMS, which has only one of the combinations corrected lol, is correct), though unclear which of them it ought to be attributed to!
  • Tippo (Plantae, not in IPNI, 2020
    • This is probably en:Oswald Tippo (A Modern Classification of the Plant Kingdom, 1942). Most authors basically ignore dating and authorship issues with names above the rank of family, because those names are not subjected to the principle of priority anyway (Hence why these names are not in IPNI, I don't think anyone other than Reveal ever seriously cared about these names).

Without a name/ref to work back from, most of these are unsolvable. They're just... names. Without something to tell us why they're on this list, the list itself is useless. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Circeus (talkcontribs) 29 October 2020.

@Circeus: do you mean whole list or Tippo-related stuff? If whole list, then these red links can be deleted, once WS has no backlink to them--Estopedist1 (talk) 06:25, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Spieth doesn't have backlinks, dunno if it was unlinked or solved separately. I mistook some of them as having no backlinks. Circeus (talk) 15:00, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
