Adiantum oyapokense Jenman, Ferns Brit. W. Ind.: 85 (1899).

• Lectotype (designated by Boudrie, Hirai & Prado, 2017): French Guiana: ‘‘Ininsulis sabulosis dumosis delapsi aricoto. Oyapoke superius, Guyane’’, Dec 1835, F.M.R. Leprieur s.n. (Lectotype: NY 00888038; isolectotype: P 01587464).
