Note: There is no consensus about the status of this genus. Xestaea lisianthoides Griseb. Linnaea 22: 35. (1849) may belong in Schultesia as Schultesia lisianthoides (Griseb.) Benth. & Hook. fil. ex Hemsl. (1882) (Hassler, 2017), or be kept segregated (Struwe, 2014) as here.
