  • Type locality: "Tanegasima, Japan." [Tanega-shima, Osumi-shoto, Japan].
  • Lectotype: C. Wright; TCD (Masuda et al. 1995: 201: two incomplete specimens attached to a single herbarium sheet, designated as 'type' by unknown person, must be treated as lectotypification)
