Thosaporn Wongratana

Thai ichthyologist

Graduated fisheries from Kasetsart University; Ph.D. in fish taxonomy from University of London, England. He served main course ichthyology and animal taxonomy at National Museum of Australia, Sydney, Australia and Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, USA. He also study and work Clupeidae and Engraulidae to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). He is professor emeritus at Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University and curator at Museum of Natural History, Chulalongkorn University.
