• Type locality: Cambridge Botanical Garden, tropical hothouse, on moist limestone, Britain.
• Holotype: previously BM, lost or destroyed. Original drawings (Fritsch 1944, figs 1, A-I; 2, A-G; 3, A-C; 4, A-G).
• Epitype: Lagoa de Obidos, Portugal, collector O. Lourenco (sample no. K92: ACOI culture collection 471), 1989, L (L079292) (designated in Boedeker et al. 2012: 821).
