Discussion
edit- If there are no objections, taking into account @MarcoAurelio:'s comment here, I would like to recommend a speedy approval for this. Cheers Scott Thomson (Faendalimas) talk 00:11, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- Fine for me. The bot does nothing but archive threads and is configured via on-wiki templates. Please take note that, unless @Euku says otherwise, you will no longer be able to use archives like User_talk:Example/Archive_30; although IMHO that's a very minor issue. —MarcoAurelio (☎ talk) 11:13, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- I have no problems with this bot. Andyboorman (talk) 10:29, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Vote
edit- Support. I can vouch for SpBot's good work on Meta-Wiki, Commons and Wikidata. It has all the features that the old archivebot.py script that I run lacks. I also Support speedy approval per @Faendalimas above and the uncontroversial task the bot performs. —MarcoAurelio (☎ talk) 11:13, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- Support including speedy approval. Andyboorman (talk) 11:48, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Speedily Approved. This one seems to be fairly straightforward, others who have not yet voted have already asked for r given indication of support elsewhere, it is also a well trusted bot used on multiple wikis. There fore I am approving without trial this bot. Will move this to an archive soon going to give the bot the bot flag. Cheers Scott Thomson (Faendalimas) talk 22:05, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
