Volkameria heterophylla Vent., Jard. Malmaison ad t. 70. (1804)
Note: The protologue of this species is often incorrectly cited as Poir. Encycl. 8: 687-688. (1808), but in that publication Poiret directly cited the earlier Ventenat (1804) publication. The type is a Riche specimen and not the Bory specimen cited by Poiret. (Callmander et al. 2017. Candollea 72 : 132, cited by Tropicos 2022)
