Thismiaceae J.Agardh, Theoria Syst. Pl. 99. (1858)
Note: This is a taxonomic opinion of Thismiaceae segregated from Burmanniaceae s.l., only partially supported by phylogenetic evidence, as summarised by Garrett et al. (2023. The recently discovered Relictithismia has been placed in this family by the authors, but note APGIV. WS can not take sides during a taxonomic dispute.
