  • Type locality: Plankton aus dem Altrhein von Roxheim.
  • Lectotype: pl. VI: figs 13, 14 in Schmidle 1900 (designated by Komárek 1974).
  • Epitype: material of the strain SAG 25.81 cryopreserved at the SAG Culture Collection Göttingen, Germany (designated in Bock et al. 2013: 337).
