Type locality: "recorrido de Mazahua al Mezquite, ca. 6 km por la carretera 185, a 8 km al NE de La Ventosa," Ixtaltepec, Distrito de Juchitan, Oaxaca, Mexico; 16°22’N, 94°57’W.
Holotype: C. Martínez 2102; MEXU.
