Usage edit
- Use this template to add a reference to a taxon on the web site NCBI Taxonomy (National Center for Biotechnology Information) by providing the taxon id on NCBI.
- Syntax

- the id of the taxon on NCBI web site.
Warning: avoid leading spaces!- How to retrieve the id: In the url www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/Browser/wwwtax.cgi?mode=Tree&id=9606&lvl=3&p=has_linkout&lin=f&keep=1&srchmode=1&unlock the id is 9606
- Sample (for Homo sapiens): 9606
- description
- The name of the taxon with its author (don't forget italic for genus and species)
