Name edit
Tarenna campaniflora (Hook.f.) N.P.Balakr., Bull. Bot. Surv. India 22(1–4): 175 (1980 publ. 1982)
Synonyms edit
- Basionym
- Webera campaniflora Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India 3(7): 106 (1880)
- Syntypes:
- F. De Silva in Wallich Cat. 8401 K (K-W [K001125407(GBIF, JSTOR), the upper specimen, collected in Sylhet], LE 00017291(JSTOR); cf. P [P03840759(GBIF), without type indication]).
- Note: Hooker (1880: 102) also cites Wallich's Cat. 8401 K for Webera odorata Roxb. [≡ Tarenna odorata (Roxb.) B.L.Rob.]. It is also worth noting that he mentions neither the collector De Silva nor the locality Sylhet for his W. campaniflora, while he cites Bruce, who collected 8401 'L' (K [K000031430(GBIF, JSTOR), having clear indication of being type of W. campaniflora).
- Bruce s.n. (cf. in Wallich Cat. 8401 L: K-W [K001125408(GBIF, JSTOR), with K001125407, the lower specimens]), together with the locality Chittagong.
- J.D. Hooker & T. Thomson s.n. ([November 1850 – January 1851]; K [K000031432(GBIF, JSTOR)]).
- Note: K holds two more 'types' collected by them (K000031429(GBIF, JSTOR) & K000031431(GBIF, JSTOR)), both of which, however, lack 'Seetakoond', i.e. the locality specified in the protologue.
- C.B. Clarke s.n. ([8 February 1873]; K {K000031433(GBIF, JSTOR) [with number '19693'], K000031434(GBIF, JSTOR) [with number '19708', with K000031433]}).
- F. De Silva in Wallich Cat. 8401 K (K-W [K001125407(GBIF, JSTOR), the upper specimen, collected in Sylhet], LE 00017291(JSTOR); cf. P [P03840759(GBIF), without type indication]).
- Type locality: [Bangladesh.]
- Syntypes:
- Webera campaniflora Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India 3(7): 106 (1880)
- Homotypic
