The genus Pseudophilotes (valid genus) is regarded by some authors as a subgenus or synonym of Scolitantides, but recent molecular studies (e.g.: Ugelvig et al., 2011) have determined that they are different genera.
Pseudophilotes is a genus of butterfly of the family Lycaenidae, subfamily Polyommatinae Swainson, 1827.
