Prosphodrus n.sp. (elytra)

Distribution edit

Notes edit

  • there are two described species, and possibly some very similar undescribed species
  • there is one very distinctive undescribed species (pictured here), which was referred to by Larochelle & Larivière (2001: 139) as a new genus ('a closely allied large-sized genus (ND, AK, CL) ... awaits description'). It has also been informally referred to as the 'Kamo carabid', and is the species stated to be confined to the Dome Valley (AK) by Watt (1983: 34)
