The following is more appropriate for wikipedia

The Two species of Rice Tenrecs are endemic to Madagascar. O. hova is the Mole-Like Rice Tenrec found in the humid highlands over much of Madagascar. O. tetradacylus, the Four-toed Rice Tenrec occurs in highland humid forest of central and eastern Madagascar. (source Wilson & Reeder: Mammal Species of the World, Johns Hopkins Press).
