Regan & Trewavas described this genus without designating a type species in their paper referenced below. As such, it would be unavailable under Article 13.3 of the ICZN. The type was designated in the Zoological Record (1933) for 1932, see reference below, and authorship would thus be Burton (ex Regan & Trewavas), 1933. Current usage is Regan & Trewavas, 1932.
