Talk:Lemuriformes
Characteristics edit
The Infraorder Lemuriformes has 4 families, 14 genera and 62 species.
Comments edit
All Malagasy lemur families, with the possible exception of Daubentoniidae, form a monophyletic clade (reviewed in Groves, 2001c). As the families within this clade themselves fall into two groups, it is convenient to recognize infraorders as well as superfamilies.
