• Cepheoidea Berlese, 1896 is the oldest available name for this concept, but is a junior homonym.
• ICZN Article 55.3.1 applies, i.e., '55.3.1. Such a case involving family-group names must be referred to the Commission for a ruling to remove homonymy unless the senior homonym is a nomen oblitum' (which it is not, in this case)
